Overview

As a part of YeneHealth.com's redesign project, I recently got tasked with redesigning the entire web experience as a newly hired graphic designer and animator. While the previous home screen was among the better ones in terms of services in Ethiopia, it lacked one major thing — direction. As a new user jumping onto the platform, The user research we conducted found that users often felt the lack of a home page made navigating the page hard for them.

Project Goals

Enhanced Information Architecture: Develop a user-friendly interface for effortless navigation, enabling new and existing users to explore our services, pages and information about our company.
Increase Engagement: Enabling users to quickly navigate to products and articles for making learning articles easy to access and to drive sales.
Streamlining User Flows: Facilitate the users to be able to navigate whichever functionality with ease of mind.
Easing the Addition of New Information: Design a straightforward and welcoming page where every new announcement and products are to be posted.

Research and Discovery

User Research: Conducted surveys and interviews with travelers to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points in the trip planning process. Competitive Analysis: Studied popular travel applications to identify best practices and potential improvements for Trip Buddy.
